Travel Tips sorry there is no elephant ride in KL but you can visit our national ZOO to feed the monkeys. things to do/see in Kuala Lumpur:- KLCC twin tower and shopping China town Putrajaya if you dont mind travel a little you can go to genting highland which is 45 min from kl.is a mountain about 6,000 ft , has a big theme park and the world highest casino and cooling temperture. log into www.genting.com.my for details. Others You are thinking Thailand. My goodness this question shows how much you know about Malaysia.... nothing! Thailand and Malaysia are 2 different countries just as the US to Mexico. Go read up on Malaysia before you ask stupid questions. Did you know that English is our first language? Do you know that England is our motherland and was a British colony for 250 years? Do you know that the main ethnic groups in Malaysia consist of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese and English? Did you know that we are one of the most technologically advance countries in the world? Did you know that the US has no political say whatsoever in the Malaysia? Did you know that we do not have any debt with IMF? Know your facts before asking stupid questions about wanting to ride an elephant or pet a monkey. You are not welcome in Malaysia because of your stupidity and narrow mindedness. We are Malaysians and not chinese serving food in a chinese restaurant. I am showing what a true Malaysian is. We will not bow down to anyone who would not take the time to learn more about Malaysia. Gee..... do you think that they talk highly of Malaysians else where? Why do you bow down to foreigners who do not think any highly of us? WE are Malaysians. I am a Malaysian. Ignore iannish.....he is very rude. showing malaysian true colour...... Ride the Elephants? the Jusco outlets in Mid Valley and Kepong feature animal rides for a ringgit a ride. You will have to buy tokens from the cashier for a RM1 each. Feed the Monkeys? just outside the Inland Revenue Office in Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur, there is a troupe of monkeys that have been displaced by rampant development and because of construction of a new home for the king. Please feed with care because these monkeys can be quite testy and are not afraid of humans. It would be best to do so from the safety of a vehicle. If annoyed Malaysian motorists stare or honk at you, please feel free to ignore them and use the universal tourist blank stare. I agree with Iannish. Some people can be so ignorant. There are no elephants and monkeys in KL except for the zoo! Why do you want to come all the way here and go to the zoo? Silly ain't it? Anyway, to help you get a head start, you might want to check out Petaling Street or better known as China Town. Go to Lonely Planet and read up a lil. They have the best guides. Good luck! you want to feed The Bear as well..hahah |
