Serious Models?

Have you ever noticed that or wondered why do models always dont have a smile on their faces when they snap pictures or model...why is that so? why do they need to be so serious?

Hahaha, i have watched a documentary film about 'unfriendly' model. According to them, they are only supposed to be modelling the (whatever) outfit, jewel, etc. They dun smail cos they expect the crowd to concentrate on the particular show and not them.

Its a psychological thing... some people find it a turn on, like those aggressive look, which makes them look sexy. That's why you find snobbish people trying to look 'sexy' thinking they're some kind of model or something... Another reason is to make them look 'all natural'... we don't wear our smiles with us 24/7 do we?

they look serious to be cool. look at amber chia, how often she smiles.
they want to be a pro-model, smile dont look so pro ma..
They aren't smiling because they are so hungry it makes them unhappy. ha ha ha. Just kidding. I think the purpose of the model is to show off a product, like clothes or make-up. A smile would probably be considered distracting.
