Taxi from Malaysia to Singapore? |
Travel Info I'm still planning how to get to Singapore via KL. Overall I might come in to KL Sentral around 2:30 or 3:00am. I'd like to know how much a taxi would cost to go to Singapore from KL. Since a bus station would open up around 8:00 the most. Travel Tips i would suggest you take either a train or bus. taxi it too costly. train and local light rail transit LRT is in the same building in KL Sentral. if you take a bus i ll suggest you take (aeroline bus)www.aeroline.com.my from menara axis, pj. when you arrive take hang around the coffee shop till you get the earliest "Putra LRT" light rail transit to Asia Jaya stop, from then walk 5 min to menara axis to catch your bus to singapore. details is on the website. Others You will be paying about MYR280 or so. My suggestion is you take it easy at some 24 hour coffee shop, enjoy and relax. Then catch a 7am bus to Singapore. Way, way cheaper. Bus station (Puduraya) opens early morning. instead taking taxi and its quite expensive,I suggest u take a cab to (KTM station-KL: 03-22722760-phone number) and from there u can take bus(NiCE) direct to Copthorne Orchid Hotel 214 Dunearn Road Singapore. can reach within 4hrs if no jam. thats how i travel to singapore about 200-300sgd. i will suggest take a fast bus to johor and hop a cab or bus to sg. Just take the bus. It is a lot cheaper and faster. You may even sip coffee while traveling in a bus. Just go by taxi meter. The bill will be in Malaysian Ringgit, so you will thereafter need to convert it to Singapore dollars. The final bill should be within SGD 100 to 150 i would suppose? It would obviously be a lot cheaper travelling by coach from KL to Singapore. |
