Travel Info I've been saving to go to Malaysia? What places do you suggest? Travel Tips Penang, langkawi, kuala lumpur and malacca is the top spot for tourist in malaysia and lot of thing to see and do. Others Taiping, Heritage Town! The question is too general. Tell us what you want to do in Malaysia, what's your interest, duration of stay, etc. Then we are able to help you better. If this is yr first time, just tour around KL/selangor area. If you got extra time, go to nearby state Melaka or Penang. If you have somemore time, then take the cheap flight go to Langkawi, Kelantan, Trengganu or Kuantan. In yr next trip, then visit Kota Kinabalu then Kuching. Hi there, If you are seriously saving money to visit malaysia for a trip of discovery, I would suggest at least 3 weeks just to touch the highlights. Really there is a lot to do see and do in Malaysia. You might want to give a the cities a miss if you are from big cities although Malaysian cities tend to have a character that is diferent. If i know what your interest are, probably we can recommend better. After all, it is really shameful to recomend diving in Sipadan to someone who 1) Don't dive 2) Arrives around monsson season 3) Do not like the out doors. If you do check out Sipadan , Bako, Taman Negara. Pahang and Belum. If you like shopping tours do not miss Penang and Kuala Lumpur. You will be spoilt rotten. If you want to see culture, check out the season as different season has different to offer. I hope this helps. There is of course more.
