Is there any beach near kuala lumpur? |
Travel Info As we are planning a trip to malaysia, i want to spend a whole day on any good beach. Can any one suggest me something good. Travel Tips the artificial is at Sunway Lagoon other wise the closest beach its about 1 hr 20 min drive from Kuala Lumpur. The beaches are Bagan Lalang, Port Dickson and Morib plus the beach is not nice. the good beach its at less 3 hour away from Kuala Lumpur. try Cherating in Pahang state. Others Port Klang, Morib and Kuala Selangor is the NEAREST but there's nothing good but discarded wastes and rotting fish under the sun. There's another alternative: Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan and Kuantan, Pahang (which are quite a distance but 'worth' the travel though they're not world class beaches). If you're into something man-made then there's a place called Sunway Lagoon. They've the largest man-made beach in Klang Valley/Malaysia. Hope this helps and good luck! Port Dickson. It's relatively near. We use to go there a lot when I was a kid. Travel was actually quite fast. there is a beach near to kl,but im sure tht u wont be happy with it,..instead why dont try waterfalls? we have a good one in kl,it called "ulu yam" they provide chalet and other activities such as jungle trakking n etc so just go to search yahoo and type ulu yam have a nice trip=) i guess,,it's gotta be port dickson....................loc... in the state on negeri sembilan........just 1h30m drive from downtown kuala lumpur............ yup, there is a beach in kuala lumpur ask cab driver to send you to pantai dalam Other than Port Dickson beach, you may want to go to Bagan Lalang beach, not far from KL international airport. More peaceful. Just ask the staff at the hotel you stay, they'll help you, i'm sure |
