Travel Info Hey! Does anyone know how much it costs to get a Pakistani visa? =) ... I'll be going to India this summer, and wanted to drop by in Pakistan for a day or two to visit a place of worship! ... Thank you! =) Travel Tips National MALAYSIA (MY) /Destination PAKISTAN (PK) Passport and visa required. However, if travelling for business purposes, a visa can be obtained on arrival, for a max. stay of 30 days, provided: 1. arriving at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar or Quetta airport; and 2. holding one of the following documents: - recommendation letter from Chamber of Commerce & Industries (CC&I) in country of residence; or - invitation letter from business organisation duly recommended by concerned trade organisation/association in Pakistan; or - recommendatory letter by Investor Consular of Board of Investment posted at Pakistan missions abroad. Fee:varies from USD 3.- to USD 150.- depending on nationality. If holding Pakistan Origin Card (POC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP): visa not required for unlimited period of stay. If dual nationality and holding Pakistan passport: a temporary 72 hour landing permit will be issued to passengers of Pakistani origin on arrival in emergency situations, provided: - using Pakistan passport with notation (valid for 5 years) issued by Regional Passport Offices in Pakistan or by Pakistan missions abroad; and - passenger applies for a regular visa at Regional Passport Office in town (not applicable if holding NICOP); and - passenger departs with same passport used for entry. If stay exceeds 30 days, passenger must register within 30 days at the Immigration Head Office. Visitor must hold ticket and documents required for next destination. One-way ticket is accepted for: - holders of passport with stamp "visa exempt"; or - passengers having dual nationality and using Pakistan passport. Non-compliance with the entry regulations results in deportation. No Pak Visa but i do know who Pak Lah is. a) Starting 16/10/2000, visa is not required for touring purposes and 'landing permit' will be given - 30 days at any entrance of Pakistan. b) For business visa - need multiple entry visa (3 years) for investors from 44 countries that have investments in Pakistan. http://www.kln.gov.my/?m_id=55 |
