Is there plenty of parking space in Genting? |
Travel Info I will be putting up at Awana, which is away from the action. I know about the skyway but the timing & frequency may not be to our liking so we might want to drive to the theme parks instead. How easy is it to find a parking space (do I park in the hotels?) and are the charges reasonable? Travel Tips Parking in Genting is Free!!! If you have decided to drive to the action area, dun worry... Look out for sign boards leading you to the theme park. Should not be a problem. Even if you do not manage a parking lot, there are other lots available at other hotels in Genting. It is practically walking distant to all places. Have a nice trip. Others Accessibility to Awana Genting Highlands Golf & Country Resort is by road and the journey is smooth and picturesque. The resort is just 15 minutes away from Genting - City of Entertainment. By Car It is only an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur via the Karak Highway. After 25 km, turn-off into the Genting Highlands highway and after another 13 km, you will be at the resort. For those who are driving from the North, travel via Tanjung Malim to Batang Kali to the resort. Travellers from the South will find it easy coming in from the Sungei Besi Highway through Jalan Tun Razak, which connects with the access-ways to Ampang, Hulu Klang and Melawati to the resort. Why not email them and ask? However I think there's more than enough carpark space. http://www.awana.com.my/en/ag/accessibil... there are a few hundreds of parking spaces and there's open parkings as well. just find the right time to go and you'll find your space There are thousands of parking spaces available throughout the Genting Highlands and since the new hotel which called First world Hotel, the parking area had extended to cater more..so no worries about parking your car..but one thing for sure..be there early to have a parking space near to all the excitement or get ready to walk miles to just get to the park and vice versa.. my personal experience and it was damn tiring! Better leave your car at the hotel and get their 24 hours taxi to send you back to the hotel where you were staying! Been to Genting few month ago by car. Yes there are plenty of parking space but the problem is you need a Genting Member Card to access to most of the parking entrance. If you do not hv a Genting Member Card the only parking area is at the open parking lot between the Genting Hotel & Kayangan Apartment. Try to borrow a Gold Card if you can. That will give you lots of privilleges. Good Luck. |
