how long does it takes for a KTM train from Johor Bahru to KL Sentral?

The average time is around 7 hours. Assuming it is KTM. If it was the orient express, I would not know.

I have taken the train rom butterworth to KL and I took a cabin due to time factor. I have an early meeting and I took the night train with a cabin. I got there fresh and rested for my meeting and feeling a little nostalgic. I used to take the train as a kid with the grand parents before.

The nay sayers will disuade you from taking the train, however its not all that bad especially when you are not travelling alone.

bus will take about 7 hrs.i don't know ktm,sorry
I will advice you against taking KTM. It will be too long of a journey. Bus will be cheaper and faster, and you still get to see the countryside. There are lots of bus companies out there. Check them out. They range for comfortable to exclusive.
Is abt 6 hrs i took it b4 but they nvr reach on time...

2) Ekspres Sinaran Petang (XSP/06) - Express train from Singapore - Sentral Kuala Lumpur
3) Ekspres Senandung Malam (SM/12) - Express train from Singapore - Sentral Kuala Lumpur

Two other lines run from Johor to KL too, but they take ages really. Coach is still the preferred means for such journey (not to mention it's more cost-efficient too!)
