anyway, bob, its the best for you to contact the hotel directly and ask for special room rate promotion or any 2 days 1 night package..and oh! it will much better if your darling Diana to make the booking for you as the hotel would charge you the foreigner's price if you use your british accent! lol..and always speak directly to their reservationist not the receptionist as you could maybe haggle best price from them..

The best hip and happening place to chill out in Bukit Bintang would be:

PLANET HOLLYWOOD KL (B/DC)
Unit G003, Ground Floor, KL Plaza
Jalan Bukit Bintang
Tel: 03 2144 6602
This is a very popular club with locals and tourists, always packed on weekends. Local and foreign artists perform on a regular basis. You may also sample American food and drinks

BEACH CLUB (B/DC)
97 Jalan P Ramlee
Tel: 03 2166 9919
Beach Club looks like a scene right out of Hawaii with dried palm leaves and beach wood scattered all around. Popular among clubbers, this is one spot you'll want to explore.

BAR IBIZA (B)
924 & 926 Jalan P. Ramlee
Tel: 03 2713 2333
Straight out of Ibiza comes a club with walls that swirl lava right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. An island bar sits in the centre of the place while dancers gyrate on a steel gangplank above it

GLOW (KL)(D)(F)
926 Jalan P Ramlee, KL
Tel.: 2713 2333
Part of the Modestos brand, Glow is a solid dancing and dinking locale for the young and willing.

QBA (D)
The Westin Kuala Lumpur,
Tel: 03 2731 8333
Qba is the Westin鈥檚 ever popular Latin based bar. Often packed and frequently going all night

Basically, find those happening clubs which located in Jalan P. Ramlee, Jalan Pinang, Jalan Ampang and Jalan Doraisamy ( Heritage Row)..these are among the most hip places to be and to be seen!

For RM100, try Bintang Warrison or Corona Inn. Don't know much about pubs though.
Myra usually have the good answer for this Bean. Just wait for her

don't worry too much on those anjing gila and its clones, soon when the throat gets sore, they'll stop it. Just wait and see
With that price on that area is motel rather than hotel.

For a much lower price, you can get a clean and comfortable room for 2 persons at the Tai-Ichi Hotel on JL Bukit Bintang. It costs just about $28 per night but has no frills or room service etc.

My favorite drinking place in that area: None. I would buy a bottle of Lemons Gin from a nearby shop, walk with my girlfriend to the BB Plaza and drink it while we ordered food. Enjoyed it while raining heavily.
travel writer/ been there
You can try Agora at Bukit Bintang for RM103. It's exactly opposite Bukit Bintang Plaza.

Lots of drinking places around that area - I don't have a fav. You can either hang out at Bintang Walk where Planet Hollywood is or just walked down to Jln Sultan Ismail and you'll find tones of clubs / pubs e.g Ruums, Beach Club etc.
