Price of common food and daily use items in malaysia? |
Travel Info can somebody give me detailed price of common food items like bread..butter..chicken..etc. and daily use items plus transport costs if i have to live in malaysia..is 2700RM + accomodation enough to manage Travel Tips if u eat roti canai every meal, u can save a lot a lot of money hehe.. 2roti canai every meal. 6x0.6= RM3.60 spent on food a day. p/s: order sky juice. its free of charge. Others bread will cost about 2.50, butter about 4.00, chicken about 5.-6.00 per kg. transport cost depends on distance. Most people here drive and cost of petrol and tol can be a quite a lot depending on distance and traffic. Food is not that expensive here, RM 2700 + your food+your accommodation+your transports+ entertainment+ shopping is enough if you are single. no need to worry. many outstation people come to Kuala Lumpur with the salary range of RM1800 to RM3000 which is consider middle income earner and also the high no of people in this range. ------------------------------... you are making bo$$ angry.. ashkay, as i told you before, don't worry too much about the cost. RM2700 is more than enough for a single person like you in KL, furthermore, you don't have to pay for accommodation as you said earlier. -edit- Anderson, i'm trying not to angry anymore :-) RM2,700 per day/week/month/year?? Many people subsist in Malaysia on less than RM1,000 per month, and have to pay for accommodation out of that. So unless you're talking per year, or have a bad alcohol habit, you will survive. You can eat nasi goreng kampong for RM4 to RM5 (and other diverse local dishes for around the same price). Most Malaysians eat most meals out. There's healthy competition and unless you want to eat in the major hotels or fancy restaurants it's pretty cheap to do so. Live in KL Daily expensense if you dine at regular restaurant will cost you around RM15.00 or less per day.. Bread RM 1.90 Butter RM 2.00-4.00 Chicken RM 13.00 (whole chicken) So by looking at this with that income RM 2700.00 i think u can manage. |
