the 1st rubber tree was imported from Brazil by a english plantation owner during british colony. the time was the boom of rubber and malay is the perfect place to plant for industrial need.
that all i can remember from my history class, sorry hehe...

in addition to Anderson's, the year was 1877 when the first rubber tree planted in KualaKangsar Perak. It's still there standing infront of the District Office
