Travel Tips Good Chinese restaurants are plentiful in KL. I like Tai Thong in Jalan Ampang, just a short taxi drive from Lot 10. Another option is Overseas restaurant along Jalan Imbi, which is walkable from Lot 10. These are restaurants where locals go to and are not touristy. There is a fantastic wine and liqour merchant called Nam Lee Chong just across the road from Lot 10. The shop is close to the intersection where Lot 10 is. They carry a wide selection of wine and is a main distributor so you will get them at reasonable prices. A good alternative is to get liqour duty free at the KL International airport on landing. It is one of the cheapest duty free airport in the region. There is a limit of 1 litre per person for you to take through customs. Others plenty of restaurant around that area. shop around to find the best bargain that you want. |
