Genting to Langkawi? |
Travel Info whats the best and quickest way to reach langkawi from genting highland ? actually i will check out from genting hotel at 11 am and i have to check in langkawi hotel at 4:pm so please help me out. Travel Tips If you go by your plan..i think it should be okey to do all that in one day..but you need to do some adjustment regarding your time...may i suggest to you.. 8AM - Check out from Genting Hotel, get a cab from Genting Limo centre ( pre-book your cab in advance to avoid any problem that might be arise) and shoot direct to the airport..if you go by Air Asia..then you need at least 1 1/2 hours to be at the Airport if your flight is at 12:50pm.. 14:00 - you would be most probaly be reaching Langkawi at this time..possibly arrange a pick up service from your hotel in Langkawi ( also do this in advance)..this can minimize your time from wasting time in getting and haggling price from those cabbies.. 14:30 - by this time you will be on the way to your hotel..if your hotel is in Pantai Cenang/Tengah area..the journey would only takes about 20 minutes, if in Pantai Kok and further up..journey would be around 35 minutes and if your hotel is in Kuah town..it will take about 40 mins to get there.. 15:30 - 16:00 at this time, it will be just nice for you to check in.. happy travelling and have a pleasant journey! Others If you are talking about the same day. It is quite not possible unless someone is willing to help you by risking the speeding summons. via Airasia 1250 flight. But it is quite not possible cause you hv to check in at least 30mins be boarding time. Normally it take 1 hour 30 mins to reach LCCT (airport) from Genting but you cannot afford to hv any bad traffic condition. by Car/Taxi. It will take you around 4 hour 30mins from Genting to either Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis & follow by a ferry which is either 45mins or 1 hours 30 mins. If you can get someone who is willing to drive u like Micheal Schumacher does on F1 track, then it is possible. At speed of 180km/h you will reach Kuala Kedah / Kuala Perlis in 3 hours max. Is not possible the time is too short...unless superman helps u...or batvehicle.. |
