yes you do need to swim but that is only in week 5 or more of training. it's during safety week. but they do provide u with a float. it's one of the best week's during training. it is went u learn to jump on the slide into the pool in your uniform! u will have a blast. i did. good luck.

No, you don't need to swim. At least you hope you don't need to swim. You do need to lie and tell them you can swim if you can't and they ask. Hopefully they wont throw you in a pond and give you a swim test. Bad enough they'll probably drug test you...
Be strong, confident lady, and put in your application. It's best if you aren't afraid of heights, and if you have a nice body and taken care of yourself. Age doesn't matter, as long as you are over 18 or 21 for some companies. GO FOR IT!!!!! Ron

beside that its better to speak other languages fluently.
