Do Singaporeans look down on Malaysians? |
Travel Info I'm a Singaporean. Last summer, i met a malaysian in the Phillippines and he told me he didn't like Singaporeans because we look down on them. i haven't think of that before! Is this true? Travel Tips Why does one individual thinks that he/she can speak for the rest of his/her country's population? It is irresponsible to make sweeping statements. There will always be people who will always find faults with other people regardless of race, gender and nationality. It's a pity that we often forget to see the good in others. Others Everyone looks down on Malaysians. I live in Eastern Europe and even I think they're idiots. Although i'm a singaporean,i dun look down on malaysians but instead i think that they look down on me Geographically speaking yes. because singapore is in the higher latitude Personally, i dont look down on them. I have many malaysian friends whom I on good terms with. So, regarding your qusetion, it's a "NO". No, although I am a Singaporean, I DO NOT look down on Malaysians. Well, in general, Singaporeans DO NOT. But, sorry to say, some Singaporeans DO look down on Malaysians. Those are the minority of arrogant chaps |
