Which state in malaysia the cost of living is higher then compared to the other states? |
Travel Info reasons? i always thought it was Johore. Travel Tips KL is the highest cost of living. but most of the rich people aint in KL.. either they went overseas or the live near the sea running business which is relax.. Others Kuala Lumpur, is the center of everything. some apartments rental can go as high as RM10 K per month. rental for a small stall along the walkway in Midvalley cost RM 4 K ++ per month. All the luxury cars is everywhere. entertainment is expensive but people is still affordable. branded clothing is sell like hot cakes. sales is almost every month and people is rushing for it. like that "mati la" gaji RM 3K pun tak cukup! :( edit-- Mana rich? all those money goes to watching spiderman, minum at the pub, shopping , go genting casino for sponsorship, go to MLTR concert, bayar bill astro, hp & utilities bills, car & house rental and still owe credit cards. sudah broke!! ------------------------------... Some times it will cost more on other states because of the transportation from KL. Most item from overseas will either pass KLIA or Port Klang to declare before sending to others. therefore transportation cost will inculde in that paticular item. for example The Star paper is cost more in east malaysia. we have to consider the compitation is higer in KL, price have to be cheap to compete with others. KL for sure. Cost of living definitely higher than others. This is where all the rich companies and people are. I think it is Sabah and Sarawak cos everything there are a few dollars more than what we get in Peninsular... i think johore la..hahaha..((my point of view)) i read this stuff once before..the government rated sarawak as the highest living cost than other country..((govern says)) evrywhere is da same..js get more money n spend less.. or pay less for ur taxes..lalala.. Sabah... everything here is more expensive than in the rest of Malaysia (inclusive Sarawak) plus income is the lowest of the whole of Malaysia. Sabah was, when Malaysia was formed as we know it to-day in 1963 one of the richest states in terms of natural resources. Now it is Malaysia's poorest state, even after the northern states. Read it up in the newspapers... I wonder how that all came along... Cost of living = minimum you need to survive & depend on your lifestyle. Certain people's household earning is less then 2K/month & stay happily in KL area. Some household earning is around 20K/month & yet running short every month. I believe KL is stil the highest in Malaysia but PJ, JB, George Town & KK is quite close too. Since you are talking about state then it would be Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Johor, Selangor & Penang is close behind. |
