Travel Info Is Johor Baru the land of muggings and car jackings? Travel Tips i wont put it in a way johor baru is the land of the muggings and car jackings but in fact they have higer crime rates there compare to other states. Others Based on personal experience, no. I think it's Kuala Lumpur. Wow living a life's a harsh word for westerners. I guess you need a life too. Azay1, I aint a New Yorker but I guess other cities acknowledge these conditions and they take actions against it. They don't simply deny it. I feel more comfortable walking in New York in Johor (if I will go to Malaysia anyway, which is, a definite no-no) What!??!! Typical white boy question. At least it is not the land of white trash!! The answer is no. Obviously you would not take that answer because you think that you are smarter than an Asian. You are NOT welcome in Malaysia. It is almost as bad as Kuala Lumpur if is not better. The muggers tend to attack females, cases like snatching sometimes even rape. Not less ended up in hospital paralyse or coma which led to death. However, car jacking's case happened throughout Malaysia but why Johor is so high in crime because of the Singaporeans. They are almost the first target. Not only muggings and car jackings, the motorists's attitude is also one of the worst (because I personally experienced it!) Majority are rude, disobey roadsigns and they can turn their cars back to the opposite direction and goes all the way back up to the flyover (100m)where they have came from and upon reaching the flyover, they drove straight to avoid the long queue going to Singapore. Imagine this is the main highway exist from the North andSouth Highway connecting with "this"flyover from other part of Johor. What could you say, amazing right? Yes, I am in agreement. Too many drug addicts in Johor Bahru and car jackings is happening almost every day in great numbers. I don't know if it can compete with KL as the number 1 car jacking city in Malaysia. It takes a lot to over come Kuala Lumpur. Not just only Johor Bahru, all over the world. It is a matter if you have read enough to have the kind of knowledge or wisdom.. Seems like you have not done enough home work and asking such question... Boo well.. new york have higher statistic than johor bharu.. both are cities.. |
