What to do in kota kinabalu in 8 hours?

i have a layover for 8 hours. What can i do there? (will already have been back from a dive trip so most likely not interested in beaches)

Lie on the beach to relax in Tanjung Aru. If you are already sick of the beach, go and visit the Filipino market.
Good time to buy some frozen seafood to take home. They are nice and fresh and packed to easily last an 8 hour journey.

it's true you can get pirated dvd here but foreigners always get scammed and end up paying more.. duh they re pro..
go find some girls to hang out, try not to end up in jail though..
You can go sutera habour at tanjung aru to watch sun set.
hang around central point and try the "bubble tea" at 2nd or 3rd floor. foot massage also at the same floor.
visit sabah museum.
if is a sunday morning , it a must to go to Gaya street. lot of thing to see, buy and eat.
at night hang around at the "Water front" to have a seafood over there after seafood you can go to the pubs to enjoy live band.
nothing much to see and buy at Filipino market, so you skip that one out.
that show take a day at kota kinabalu.
go jet skiing, banana boat ride,knee boarding and lots more water activities at manukan island...

i love to go to the fillipine market whenever i'm there...things r very cheap like pearls...brooches and souveniours...

or eat...eat...eat and eat...seafood there r really good n cheap!!!
shop is the best thing to do. they have nice cotton sun dress, cheap.
just shop till you drop!!hehehe.or just climb Gunung Kinabalu...
