How come KL still flood even after completion of the SMART tunnel? ain't smart enough? |
Travel Info The SMART tunnel is a mega project that is believed to be able to solve the flood problem in KL. This is what happens when you cut corners.... this is normal in malaysian construction. the constructing company increased the price and reduce the materials. is it ready? Thought it was still under construction? Or maybe it is still new and the authority does not want to wet it yet? 'SMART' = Stormwater Management Road Tunnel". The main objective of this tunnel is to solve the problem of flash floods in Kuala Lumpur that could contribute to massive traffic jams especially along Jalan Sungai Besi and Lok Yew flyover at Pudu during rush hour. Flood still and will happen but hopefully it doesn't effect the whole city like before! "makan rasuah" apa lagi. the next the government is going to tell, it is for car and transport usage not for flooding. then the samy guy will say... it is not the smart tunnel problem, it is the act of "mother earth" |
