How bad is the bird flu in Kuala Lumpur?

Travel Tips
Naah, Dave... Malaysians wouldn't care. You know it...
Others
No cases in Malaysia.
Maybe in China or Vietnam.
Except for the issue in Selangor, nothing major. Avoid eating chicken & eggs as precaution.
yah its in selangor.. all eggs/chicken export are banned
There are sometimes more news available outside of Malaysia than within.
All is calm in Selangor and areas around Sg Buloh. The number of dead birds were reported between 60 -100 depending on which report you read.
This is the virulent strain. H5n1

Dave I feel strongly that people have the right to know facts and they can decide for themselves accordingly. But since nipah and the haze which caused significant public reaction the govt in their wisdom think that we have no right to know. For every bird reported dead, multiply by a factor of say 10 to adjust for Govt cover up and you will get to a more realistic number.Good luck to those who think this is not a threat. Ignorance is bliss.
