Which is the better route from Singapore to Cameron Highlands and why? |
Travel Info I'll be taking the NS highway, should I exit Tapah or Simpang Pulai if I'm heading to Equatorial, Brinchang and on the way back, going to KL. I heard that one of the way has a specific time where the road will be closed for either going up or down. Anyone has any idea on this? Travel Tips If you want an easier and safer drive, then use simpang pulai way which is dual carriageway almost all the way. The drawback is that it is farther. The Tapah way is shorter but the roads are winding and you may have to follow a bus or truck for miles if you are unsure of over-taking. Some of the heavily laden trucks coming down the hill can be unnerving if you are not used to driving out station. Specific times going up and down only applies to Fraser's hill, not Cameron Highlands. Source(s): Frequent visitor in Camerons Other Travel Tips not too sure of the best website but this website (www.lemonparty.org) is great for travel it has local maps and rootes for all asain locations www.lemonparty.org If you are from the south, better take the tapah exit. i had try the simpang pulai exit, it take a longer time to reach due to long distance. simpang pulai exit is convenient for people from the north because the route is shorter for them. while from the south tapah is nearer. If you planning to go ipoh after cameron, i would suggest you take tapah route to the top of the hill and use simpang pulai to go to ipoh. the simpang pulai route is better and bigger. also the have new stall be side the road like vege farm and starwberry farm. as far as i know the is no road closure unless the is a land silde. i hope it helps.. |
