Travel Info
i donoe if anyone noticed
@ the J.B checkpoint
-the customs officer are very grumpy / slow and always show that annoyed face..
-they happily can close their counters even theres are long queue as and when they feel like taking a break.

but

@ Tanjung Kupang (2nd checkpoint)
-the customs officers are friendly / greet and make some conversation plus more systematic.

u think?

Travel Tips
Agreed.

Certainly no excuse for being so, but i guess the Tebrau checkpoint can be a stressful and hectic workplace given the number of motorist that passes through it. Not to mention the workplace which is stuffy and full of smog, it may prove to be difficult to happy and pleasant!

But come to think of it, the officers on the other side of the causeway are just the same for both entry points. They seem to be nonchalant and seems avoid any form informal communication, let alone eye contact. Nevertheless they are more efficient and systematic, that matters the most.

Seems true about your statement....

But cannot blame them. Look at the human flow at both the checkpoints...

2nd-link --> The embarkation cards are distrubuted by the officer inside the office. You can park your car after clearance and walk toward the office...
Countless bad experience at checkpoints.

Just last Sat at 2nd checkpoint, while there were a long queue (as usual)the officer told my aunt to wait a while for him to clear his desk of clutters(not sure what clutter).

When its my turn,i ask for the white card for entrance to Malaysia and he said:finnish already.

You want me to quote his name??

btw they are all wearing 'service with smile' badges.
and all of them have that black face.
the JB one has been operating that way for a very long time and become hard-core already, can't educate anymore. like somebody says, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. must replace the whole team with newly trained dogs
That the culture. One more point, when you pay for the $2.60 toll money how often you get a receipt?........That girl just pretend to do other stuff after collect your money...Just imagine for one day how much money flow into the pockets of the attendent, immigration officers and of course their supervisors who suppose to conduct check before duty and after duty checks on their men. So you see how corrupted these guys are.......
totally agree with you... those lazy fellow.

at one time i was from Singapore via second link by bus. once i reach the Malaysia custom to stamp my passport later proceed to the custom check point. no one was there at all i m surprise. not even 1 person was check for 2 buses at that time.
unbelievable??? believe IT!!!
Yes, agreed! Especially don't go during Muslim praying time! You going to vomit blood. Worse is they like to find fault on the items in your vehicle, and just give them RM20, they will clear you immediately.
