Hilton Petaling Jaya, Hilton KL or Sheraton Imperial ? |
Travel Info I know I know another hotel Q :) Which one would you recommend for me to spend the weekend? And can you please tell me why is Hilton petaling Jaya is like 30% cheaper than the others? Is it the location, rooms are old or?? Travel Tips You should consider KL Hilton or Sheraton Imperial. PJ Hilton is indeed cheaper because of its location, rooms are ok as they had just finish their refurbishment exercise. KL Hilton is the newest hotel among the three and is very convenient as the central station (transport hub) is just right next to it. Sheraton Imperial is in central of KL City and it sits right next to Asian Heritage Row, one of the more popular nightspots in KL + theres also a monorail station within walking distance. Others Yep, truly agree with AK..it is the best and recommended for you to stay in Hilton KL, despite the room rate is kinda expensive..it is the most convenient hotel for international traveler as Hilton KL sits on the KL Sentral ..the hub of all major transportation like the trains ( one of them could straight away take you to the KLIA airport in 30 mins, other trains will take you around the city )..public busses, cabs and even you can rent or hire a car for your personal use.. While Petaling Jaya Hilton is much cheaper than its sister hotel in KL..it merely just because of its location wise which is quite far to KL (about 30 mins journey, depends on the traffic)..and the hotel is kinda sweet but seasoned hotel which need extensive refurbishment...This hotel is very much suitable for business traveler who have dealings in in nearby area like Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam. Hope this will help make your choice of stay! Hilton KL is right on top of KL Sentral, so you can take a train to the hotel for MYR35, as opposed ot a taxi for MYR80. But none of these hotels' locations are that good. Your best bet would be a hotel on Bukit Bintang: Westin, JW Mariott, Shangri-La, Regent. Or one close to KLCC Suria mall, Traders Hotel, or Mandarin Oriental. hilton kl, not hilton pj....looks sooo old on the outside and even older in the inside. i don't know Hilton KL- surrounding by KL best places Hilton Petaling Jaya- away from KL lifestyle, transportation problem... I stayed at all this 3 hotels and my number one favourite is Sheraton because of The Spa and The food and the hospitality.Its much cheaper than Hilton KL and more homely,the receptionist at The Hilton looks like Michael Jackson with the head phone walkie talkie thingy" but I cant get over its luxurious bathroom though..oh I miss Kuala Lumpur. |
