Malaysia For Fast? |
Travel Info hi friend! i'll have trip to Malaysia for few days, but sadly couldn't stay too long there =' So, i need your suggestion what's the most fav things to do and to visit in Malaysia (esp.in KL...coz i'll stay there) but i can do it in short time =) Thanks! Travel Tips If you're only in KL for a couple of days, here's a couple of must see; Batu Caves Temple, Chinatown@Petaling Street, KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers. Central Market (Arts/Local Handicraft) . If shoppings your thing, then just head to Bukit Bintang area, there's Bukit Bintang Plaza (Bargains/knick knacks), Starhill Gallery (Luxury/Branded Goods) + a few malls in between. Nightlife? head down to either Jalan P Ramlee, lots of clubs there (but mostly filled with tourist looking for local dates, can be a bit sleazy at times) or go to Asian Heritage Row@Jalan Doraisamy, its unique since they've converted a row of pre-war shophouses into tastefully decorated clubs and lounges. There isn't really much to do if you intend to be in KL only. Thus, like many KL citizens, do indulge in the wide array of food available, you'll surely be spoilt for choice!! Others Go KLCC....shopping.From klcc lrt,go to central market...stop at pasar seni station...... after shopping at central market, ask people around how to go to petaling street....another shopping to do...... later,go to puduraya, catch a bus to Genting Highland...stay at least 2 days here... after comeback.....make sure you go clubbing.... i recommend beach club, jalan p ramlee.... KLCC, central market, china town well i was there once and got this number from a travelling mate so call this number at 0123870153 and talk to them Both AK and Evangeline answered well But be careful on taking the 4th answerer's offer for someone to take you around. Sounds very dodgy. It depends on what you like the most. If it is shopping then Jalan Bk Bintang has enough malls to occupy you for a week. Starhill - high end stuff, Bk Bintang Plaza - good value,Low Yat- IT & mobile.Central market have arts & crafts. If you are just in KL, then I would suggest you take half day tours organised by your hotel. Some of the places of interest are 1. KLCC - Twin Towers 2. KL Tower 3. Batu Caves - Lime stone cave and temple. 4. Art Gallery 5. Royal Selangor factory 6. Putrajaya 7. Central Market + China Town 8. Dataran Merdeka + Masjid Jamek areas. These places dont cost much to see. Rates depend on hotel services. They will be more reliable, hassle free and its point-to-point. |
