I read on the new paper, over the weekend KL was flooded and cause many damage to people and property.
i remember KL have have this problem since long- long time ago and the goverment can up with this "Smart Tunnel" project. 2 week ago they claimed "Smart tunnel" is for major flood not flash flood!
As long as i remember KL did not have many major flood most are flash flood. i would say for every 100 flash flood there are only one major flood.
So guys, what did you think of this so called "smart tunnel"? is there any usage for flood or just a show off. What do you think??

Clearly, the aim of the tunnel is to generate money...Not to channel flood as expected... Otherwise they wont come up with excuses such as :it only covers major flood and not flash flood.

Yeah..i'm truly pissed off with this so called SMART stupid tunnel..whats the use of it, if even flash flood pun the tunnel cant accommodate!..what a waste! why are we still having this kind of nonsense!

Really pity on all those people whose property are damage with this disaster..I really wonder how much will samy velu charge us for the toll!
Normally when it come to design table Engineers are considering 50 yrs flood. That mean included flash flood as well.
I don't know what does it mean Smart Tunnel, the cast flow should be calculated based on the past KL flood experience.

In conclude i think this is just another Malaysia Boleh!! project.
Before i forget I think this one also included the act of God incident!! Right?
can i ask u if u referring to the tunnel that has no covering ?? just like one lorong?? i always thought tunnels =terowong got cover..
i seen this weird tunnel which i think is the smart tunnel when i was from the North south highway going to the city..
have no idea how it will be put into practice since the dual functions are only running in semi-mode now... moreover you will have to start paying for toll by end of this week
At the rate the Malaysian government is going ,you should be relieved they don't build an enormous underground tunnel worth a few hundred billion and tell you it's" earthquake-proof".Samy Velu is excellent at giving excuses for mistakes he makes don't you think?If he loves being where he is so much,I suggest he covers his face up,to save me trouble covering mine.I'll never admit I know who he is.
