Travel Info Should national service (plkn) be abolished in malaysia? Travel Tips I agree with bo $$. Plkn is Dr. M last minute idea. Teaching Math in English is one of his idea. Malaysia Government policy always do first think later! Wasting time and money without a clear goal!!! I don't think in few months PLKN can train a better countryman. Others yes need to be taught/done throughout schooling years as part of school curriculum, so kids can start at very young age, as early as 7 years of age. our system today focus too much on academic and ignore other important things such as developing the right attitude, moral, ....etc. etc.... that's why we got a lot of problem nowadays i never salute to those who got 20A's in SPM It another personal and sudden money spinning idea from the Dr M before retired. What Pikn - wasting time and effort of the country men and women.....poor quality trainers and programmes but also make many become richer!!!!! Should be abolished immediately!!!! Yes!!.... Please save us from extinction!!! i'm 17 this year.and fyi,plkn is a nightmare to us.sure,plkn trainee said the camp rocks.i'm sure it 'rocks' but no many people can 'rock' the camp.i think we shouldnt not abolish the camp but plz government of malaysia,give us some choice.some of us wants to go and some of us dont want to. I 100% agree. My cousin came back with stories of such horror which is probably too 'sensitve' to be discussed. In order to create better citizens which I think the national service is aimed at, I think the education system should be changed instead. It only teaches us to 'follow the leader' and does not really encourage creativity and independence. absolutely it's waste of money billion of Ringgit. The money should be pump to rural school for better development only benefited the cronies that benefited from the project and tender |
