I have been using Mac for 2 years and it's worth every penny. Macs are manufactured and distributed by one supplier, Apple. They set the price. No one else can make or sell a Mac other than Apple. The is no competition and exclusive. PCs can be made by anyone. Even you. You can put one together and sell it. You set the price. All PC companies do this. They set the price to try to beat other PC makers. You get competition and the prices go down very fast. Apple wants to be viewed as the "premium" brand, so they don't need to compete on price. They compete on image. For example, you can buy larger capacity mp3 players two-to-ten times cheaper than the iPod, but people still buy the iPod since it is a status symbol... Could you be more specific.. the MAC products you referring to are: - MAC the Computers - MAC the make up like lipstick, powder and such... Both are expensive as both are quality products and they are charge with the taxes that the govt had imposed on them.... A proud MAC user! No competition, exclusive product |
