Do express trains in Malaysia have restaurant carriages? |
Travel Info Specifically the 'jungle' route 14 &15 (Singapore - Kota Bahru vs) Travel Tips yes they have.. =) Others Yes, KTM trains have canteens. yes, always. any route i wont use the word restaurant. they have canteen Sure they do.... And do try their nasi lemak.... one of the best nasi lemak I've tasted... They do sell food in the train but not a restaurant. The train personnel will walk along the carriages to sell food. There are variety of food available. When the train stops at station to pick up passengers (prior to your destination), sometimes there are people go up to the train to sell food too. But it will be mostly local food and snacks. They have restaurant carriages onboard the Ekspres-class of trains but they don't have it on these trains: Ekonomi Siang (M/61) Ekonomi Siang (M/64) Penumpang Siang (M/81) Penumpang Siang (M/82) Penumpang Siang (M/83) Penumpang Siang (M/84) Penumpang Siang (M/91) Penumpang Siang (M/92) These are all mail trains.
