Any Malaysian prepaid handphone users? |
Travel Info I am wondering which telco offer the best package? I am a light user and mainly use for sms when I travel to Malaysia. I am from Singapore and wonder how long can the prepaid card last without top up. In Singapore we need to top up every 6 month inorder to prevent the number from deactivating. Thanks. Travel Tips I prefer 012 (hotlink) always. Others I've answered this question previously and this is a copy of what I've posted in an earlier question: There are a few networks to choose from while you are in Malaysia. My personal advice would be Digi and Maxis (Hotlink?) -Digi gives good rates on making international calls (clear and direct, with little disruption and rates are reasonably 'cheap'). Their phone network availability is limited to urban areas. -Maxis gives competitive rates (they are directly competing with Digi on this) in making international calls. Their phone network availability is and more available nationwide compared to Digi. Digi had been offering low rate calls for several years as far as I can recall, and Maxis is only picking up on them more recently. Hope this helps and good luck! P.s.- Celcom is also GREAT but they'll burn a hole in your wallet... http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... the bear got all your answers for my malaysian number i used digi to make international calls its cheap really. Digi is always the best! |
