Travel Tips
i prefer to read startegy books, encouragement book or how to be rich books..
Others
English the latest book i just finished is Like The Flowing River by Paulo Coelho. He is an excellent writer.
Books on scriptural studies (of different religions), meditation, metaphysics, occult and healing. As for magazines, I'm into health related and travel (mostly I prefer if it has more content on cultural aspects).

Then I would also go for political write ups (usually found in magazines), lifestyle and sports/martial arts/combat sports (eg. Martial Arts, Combat, etc.)...

Preferably in English.

Just for the fun of it I'd like to take a peek into 'Mustika' and 'Variasari' or 'Mingguan Misteri' (and similar) tabloids to see some nonsensical contents by crappy religious teachers, bomohs and pawangs who advertise their services there and how 'hebat' they are at exorcism and healing others (macam-macam ada!).
Health, Feng Shui, Comics, Religions, Autobiography, Reader's Digest, Inspirational Quotes, Dictionary lol, Old Master Q (hehe), Funny/True Life/Horror Stories, Fairy Tales..........
Must be in English except for Old Master Q.
-----comics bring laughter and smiles to this not so nice world-----
John Grisham and Stephen King's books. They are great authors of all time!! None of my friends know them so it's kinda upset me for not being able to discuss about their works:( I also read Dickens and Twain and already read To Kill A Mockingbird 5 times, it's a classic!! Given the fact that books in Malaysia are expensive it's very sad to see that Malaysian's reading habit is still low. Encourage us to read but charge us at a very high price:( I love to read National Geographic as well, love the photos and exclusive reports they have every month. I just stopped my Reader's Digest subscription, way too expensive for me!!
Autobiography. The book on Nelson Mandela is a must read.
books on sculpture and art , non-fiction true events, travel books, those instruction for dummy books , cook book and language translation books, jokes and riddles, readers digest, magazines depends but i don't really like to read those women's magazine

i prefer english definately.
