Ghosts at Genting Highlands?

Travel Info
After posting the Malaysian horror stories question, I think I can sum up that Genting Highlands is 'most haunted' site of Malaysia, beating my expectations of Maxwell Hills/Bukit Larut (would anyone like to change that?)...

Anyone heard of Maxwell Hills/Bukit Larut?

So... assuming that TheBear is bringing a date to Genting this Sunday and planning to stay there for a week... where should TheBear go for the 'haunted experience'?

By the way, there are MANY Thais there in Genting... if you ask a Thai in Thailand about Kuala Lumpur, they are so quick to tell you about Genting even before KLCC... just to show you how much they enjoyed themselves there :-)

Travel Tips
I have heard of such eerie incidents that are still happening in Genting Highlands....... a couple of hotels there are badly affected.
Maxwell Hill, Fraser's Hill, Penang Hill........the bungalows there are all affected.

> Musa.... have you ever watched Seekers on TV? That is all on Muslim ghosts??? wooooooooooooooo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Bear you better tell the whole story!!! If not i am going to haunt you for the rest of your life
genting highland has one of the most hunted stories. i personally didnt see it before but got those uneasy feeling especially when you stay in RIA apartment. It is very common to black out at night at ria apartment. the another apartment is famous for hunted is kayangan apartment. my friend saw a shadow floating towards him while he is smoking by the window at the apartment. freak him out immediately.
Maxwell hill is another famous haunted hill in Taiping. it believe the hills was a war zone during WW2, many army died there. i never been there before.

i guess "ham sap kwai" is the most fear of them all huh??
Maybe you guys will laugh at me but I have been doing all these stunts, everywhere I go (as I need to travel around for work)...

-- My mom told me about 15 years ago when I started to travel due to work--

1. The moment you open the door leading to your room, must 'greet' them and tell them that you only staying for a few days. Tell them to excuse you.

2. Shoes must not be placed too neatly.

3. To cover up the mirror before sleep.

4. When you sleep, make sure your legs are not pointed towards the door/windows.

Personal experience --> there was one time i missed out one point and that night was a lousy night...

Hey the bear, thanks for the compliments...

Hey peacelover, i got some more new 'ideas' from you. maybe I will ask mom when I get back home.
last time i went camping, it was a creepy experience 4 me..
in the morning, my torch light was ok.
when the time reaches 7pm, it was all dark. becoz there's no moonlight tat time.
my torch light suddenly rosak..
i cant even start the fire.. once i strike my match, the wind blew towards it..
ahh damn...
i had to suffer till the morning.

p/s: it was a solo camp.. my other frens are about 20meters away from me
ahhhhhhhhhhhh.....
TheBear, what's your job anyway? A ghost hunter or a ghost detective??

I heard that Genting is one of the most haunted place because the restless souls that died at Genting can't make their way down the hill. The Chinese temple which is located at the middle of the mountain trapped the souls up on the mountain. That's why the ghost at Genting will become more and more.

In the other hand, the temple at Genting called "Ching Sui" temple. Experienced gamblers won't pay a visit to the temple before gambling because they belive "Ching Sui" means clear all the water (money) in your pocket, haha!

And the locked room I mentioned last time at the previous question that asked by TheBear is true, not only one room, there're many rooms like that in the staff apartment. Once a staff passed by and put his ears on the door to hear what the "people" are doing inside, the "people" inside suddenly said "Hey guy, what are you peeping at!" This room is used to stored the souls together inside a room, rumors said some monks are hired by the Genting company to pray them.

If you're in bad luck, I'm sure you'll see some of these things at Genting.

To Audrey T:
Yeah, I'm doing the same thing that your mum asked you to do everytime I entered a hotel. Knocked the door before going in, after that open the door, don't go in 1st so that the "thing" can come out.

2nd, I must cover up the mirror. I'm afraid to see someone in the middle of the night in the mirror.

3rd, the haunted room normally is the last room of the end of a corridor.

4th, shoe must me placed one in the other way and another opposite site. Like, one pointed to the east and another at the west. Legs can't point to the door! Because when you see Chinese funeral, the bodies' legs must point out to the door.

5th, Some people said when you've been disturb by those things you scold them, scold their mum n dad, apple, orange, shrimps & crabs... (foul language). But this way isn't working every time. Once my mum's friend who was a tour leader wen to China. So a woman been disturb by those things and started to scold. The thing went away, but not because it was defeated, but to disturb all the members of the tour! This made them a few sleepless nights. After they went back to Malaysia they went to a temple and asked about what happened, the master said luckily the tour guide asked for prayers before going to China, if not many of them will be in big trouble such as accident etc...

Ghost...
I share the same view with Anderson regarding the Ria apartment which i also heard it was haunted but that was it.
It posed no danger to anyone unless you're at low ebb or bad luck which i believe may appear on you at that time.
In this era of time, as our population outgrows the 'ghosts', you may not find many 'ghosts' left in the urban areas...
However, my friends living in Penang claimed that there are nos. of unoccupied and dilapitaded bungalows along Tanjung Bungah are haunted which is not surprise to me considering that the 'runaway ghosts' have no where to move around....why not experience it with Mrs. Bear??
