What hotel do you reccomend in Langkawi? |
Travel Info And the best way to get there,the best tourist attractions and what travel(ferry,plane)company should I use AND what is the best car rental do you reccomend(show price in M'sia ringgit) Travel Tips Good day! Would recommend Hotel Casa Del Mar in Langkawi. Never stayed there before as it's fully booked but looking from it's website, it's beautiful. A spanish inspired boutique hotel. As for us, we stayed in a small island in Langkawi called Rebak Marina Resort for our honeymoon! They have really big honeymoon suite....lovely! As for car rental, if you arrived by plane, try the airport parking lot as you can ask around about car rental. We rent a proton waja for about RM70 a day and that was 4years ago! but hey, try give it a shot. You ought to drive on your own so you can see many places of interest at your own time. I'm sure if you want to rent for more than a day, you can get better price! Hope this helps! Others u should try search for helang hotel.....thats the trademake of langkawi... for hotel, you can try mutiara burau bay resort, it's a distance from the town area, has its private beach, great one if you are looking for some quiet escape I would recommended you to stay at awana porta malai its about RM 150/day. car rental there is cheap, its about RM 60/ day negotiable at any car rental service.. the best way to travel langkawi is to self drive in the island. if you want to fly or by ferry to get there it is all up to you.anyway it is fun. link to langkawi hotels: http//www.holidaycity.com/lang... langkawi attractions : http://nicemalaysia.com/cuti-cuti-malays... you can take a 50 min.flight. by national carrier MAS from KLIA or budget fare air asia from LCCT to langkawi. (air asia fare are cheaper when you purchased months before travelling date). car rental varies frm RM 60- 150/day. it really depends on the car. try to avoid school holidays and w/end because hotels are full and car rental are higer than usual. school hollidays in malaysia are 1st june-10th jun 2007 , 18th august-26th august. and 17thnov 07-3rd jan.2008. enjoy your stay in langkawi. |
