Malaysian horror stories?

Okay... besides the government and 'racial' harmony talks (horror stories for me), I know that Malaysians are in fact very superstitious lot of people who stores a vast amount of ghost stories and 'horror' in their memory slots somewhere in their mind.

Best horror story gets ten points. Contributors get thumbs up...

Have your say... what would you tell to convince a tourist about the authenticity of this story by the way?

Most 'foreigners' know Freddy Kruger, Count Dracula and Casper... what do you have to share with them?

hantu raya, polong etc:
these beings are believed to protect the owner against theft (if they had to leave home unattended). It was said that every fool moon the owner had to perform some sort of penyembahan; having to sacrifice (****'s blood-ayam jantan) or make pulut kuning (yellow sticky rice) to these beings. Hey dont ask me how these beings literally consume those coz theres no way i can find that out. I knew a bit of this info because back then, both my neighbours had them. Anyway both my neighbours had passed away and the day they died was a disaster coz they failed to transfer the ownership to a willing next of kin. Their children actually screamed asking for help saying 'tolong saya pakcik... jangan bagi dia hinggap kat saya".. ahhhh!!! I saw them ran from one end of the street to another back and forth..

thats why when i watch the movie 'jangan pandang belakang', it eerily reminded me of what i saw. This form of protection are very popular among the malay in the old days. sometimes u heard that this being slept with the wife (unknowingly to the wife) whenever her husband have to travel far for a night or two. Either that is a form of sacrificial on the husband's part i do not know. And it was said that before these people died, they often wear dark sunglasses coz they are afraid to see holes on the ground. Lol..whatever huh..

Another interesting ghost is langsuir (headless pontianak). Somebody said that those who owns tempayan, must always place it upside down if its empty coz u might find it in there sneaking up to u.. Eeuwww..if anybody knew about this please do share...

mona fendy's story was.

wouldn't u feel scared if there are so many ppl claiming they won't die and chop off ppl to pieces?

diz i don't remember, a politician if i'm nt mistaken went to her and her husband to get easy money.

they're called the 'bomoh'. not all 'bomoh' are bad. but mona fandey and his husband used black magic.

so the mona fandey ask for an amount of money claiming that she can multiply the amount, but the politician must first be buried leaving only the head. she told him it was a part of the procedure. actually she was lying. she can't multiply the money, instead, she wanted to steal all the money brought by the politician. it was a large sum of money. can't remember how much

so he let them buried him. her husband then slaughter the politician. the politician was chopped to 18 pieces.

later ppl found out.

mona fandey went into trial and founded guilty. her husband also. she asked the pengampunan ( forgiveness) from the Sultan to lessen her sentence.

it was not accepted. she and the husband was sentenced to death. rumour has it that she bragged, she wasn't scared bcoz ppl like her are immortal.

i heard they also drank the blood as part of the procedure. ( not sure).

mona fandey was a singer ( not so famous).

diz incident had disgraced their family. i read that her daughter had a difficult time finding a husband because she is mona fandey's daughter
Sorry bear, malaysia horror story is not horror enough. i think thai horror stories better.
the only things that really scare me is Sammy Vellu took all malaysia and ran away to India. is that scary or what??
funny, if you ask for a horror story I could not think of one... spiritual stories where there are bad or good spirits, dragons and other mystical creatures... yes, enough. But real horror stories with all the gore and blood... you just drew a blank with me!

husband went down the car to pee and never came back, then his wife heard something on the roof, when she went out to see, she saw a pontiank eating her husbnad's head..

thanks sarah the cat's mummy, i went to that mona fendy house tat midnight with my frens.. it was so cold.. the walls are black as if being burnt, there's a hole on the ceiling which i can look through upstairs from downstairs...

Well, I have some, why cos I have worked with Genting and Tioman's resort and hotels before, so it's all insider news that never could be discussed with outsiders. So believe it or not is up to you!

Genting : my colleague was sleeping in Resort Hotel and middle of the night, the closet was so noisy (sound like somebody banging the sliding door from the inside) she dare not sleep, dare not wake up and shakingly laying down on the bed till dawn and noise just died down!
Same hotel, level 7 meant for tour guide/leader and drivers, all of them dared not sleep on this floor cause rumour has it that there is a lady in red always walking up and down the corridor. I slept there once before and that was before I knew about it , damn it! Luckily nothing happens!

Awana Hotel : the lobby floor at the end whereby the cafe overlook the fairway (glass panel), staff havent karaoke at night and two staffs facing the fairway saw a head floating outside , just a glimpse and it's gone!

Tioman Resort, i was working in Singapore's office when one of our hosted travel agent sent back two pictures to us after thier inspection. It is the pool side at night whereby there are many pair of feets which could be seen up to knees only from the pic. The outfit looks like soldier used to wear and look like they are marching!

That's all otherwise I could write and write and write as i have stories from other hoteliers as well!
