I bought a warranty extension from DELL for my laptop? |
Travel Info and it costs me RM690 for 2 years. What do you guys think? Steep? Reasonable? I'm being robbed blind? I'm putting it here undr this category cos I wan to hear what other Malaysian thinks. =) Travel Tips That's a very cheap price. I think it's a good deal. Trust me, dell laptops break all the time! Others What does the extension cover? What will they repair and what will they change if there is a fault or problem? I believe it is the hardware that is worthwhile to be covered under this warranty, otherwise software-wise, it is just a recovery progran reload. I am also a Dell user but did not take on the extended warranty. Now into my 3rd year without hardware issues, normally encountered occassional software problems only. personally i think it's quite expensive. dell rarely have major hardware/software problem except for viruses and power supply problem. power supply problem could occur at least once a year and to repair or replace them is not that expensive either. as for the software problem (viruses), use trusted anti virus to avoid this and save your money too.. |
