The way to go Cameron Highland from Kuantan? |
Travel Info i'm planning to go to cameron highland next month. Is there any recommendation via road thru terengganu. Planning to stop by Kuala terengganu for some shopping. Appreciate the help. Travel Tips Hi, I do recommend to travel down to Kuala terengganu by beach road follows the route of Kuantan - Kemaman - Paka - Rantau Abang & lastly to Kuala Terengganu. From there drive heading to Kelantan which u will meet Jerteh - Pasir Putih & tanah Merah. Then try to use the internal road via Kelantan to Gua Musang. There's a new highway from Gua Musang goes towards Cameron Highland from the backway.. its about 1 1/2 hours from Gua Musang. Nice highway road though.. You will meet brinchang road.. Good luck.. My advise is to buy a map.. :) Source(s): travel experience Other Travel Tips there's nothing to shop in Kuala Terengganu unless u wanna buy those traditional stuffs. from cameron, u have to go NorthEast to reach K.Terrengganu, then come down south and enter the state "pahang". Kuantan is near once u enter pahang. take a look at this map http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co... cameron highland is probably at the letter "U" of kUala Lumpur. You can go there by bus which you may take it at the Pudu Bus Station. Very Convenience. You can, swing up to Kuala Trengganu and then go east-west on the highway towards Georgetown then swing south to Tapah. the best way its still using the east coast highway and join back to north-south(PLUS) highway and exit to Tapah. the terengganu is not so easy to drive due to small and winding. not many car using that road in case your car brake down, you might have a problem getting help. try avoid that road at night. |
