(Wei where are you now?) Chinese too. My interpretation of these audibles, in a street language sort of way: 1. Apa macam bro? - Modern Malay peoples' way of saying "whats up bro?" 2. Eh jom pergi makan - Quit whatever you are doing and join me for a meal. 3. Penat lah brother - I'm tired, so quit bugging me. 4.Lei gong mey ah? - Trying to imitate an elderly Chinese man that is saying " I don't get what you mean" in Cantonese (it is a chinese dialect) 5. Sebuk la kau - Actually it's "sibuk", they have misspelled it. It means mind your own business. 6.Hi abang - This is how Malay girls call the guys when they want something out of them. 7. Kejap x3 - Hold on! 8. Wei lei hei pin tou ah - Where have you been in Cantonese. |
