Why is the internet broadband service in Malaysia so bad? |
Travel Info The connection sucks, its unreliable, it's slow and disconnects so often. It never provides the speed you subscribed for. What is wrong with the service provider? Especially TM Streamyx? Then restart ur computer." technical assistants to streamyx are trained to memorize this and use it in every calls. u noe why streamyx is bad? because government is the boss.. Others it's malaysia hello. everything here works in the name of inefficiency. Hey, Malaysia Boleh !!! I was told it is really due to online traffic.....shouldn't be the case now should it??....... --------where are we again?------- Erm, today is Sunday sir... would you kindly be patient while our technical staff gets back to you on working hours? On the other hand, if you'd give me some kopi-o money maybe I can specially make your connection faster by 0.0001 seconds if you would consider my boss and other colleagues who are working on this issue too. We're all paid the same amount of salary and I do hope that you would be considerate about my workload. However Let me add ... i can only blame the Bandwidth the telco provide for not so high paying customers. Yes, if u r using a Soho connection (alittle more expencive) it will be better. And if you are using a highly paid connection for companies u'll get it even faster. In Malaysia I can only say one thing . No money no talk. Even when u r paying ... the more money the better. And when you pay more money they will demand for more ! that is how things work in Malaysia ? ..... Why would some country be offering 10Mbps - 50 Mbps while malaysia is only ROUGHLY 1 Mbps ? =_=l it makes u wonder .... You should be complaining. During my time in KL even cabled TV provider Astro stops beaming each time there's a downpour. If the telecommunication technology and the infrastructure is up to par with the world, Astro programs would be uninterrupted. Other broadband services are inferior in M'sia because all the telcos do not invest enough in the appropriate techology to offer quality services to the consumers. They just use the term "broadband service" as a marketing tool to lure subscribers. How else can they make billions?
