Is malaysia a good place for a summer vacation? |
Travel Info im thinking of going to kuala lumpur this summer, is it a nice place?will i have fun? whats most amazing there? any particular places to go? how's the weather?people? anything i should know? I need someone who has been already there,,,,plz tell everything,i'm still not sure whether to go or not? Travel Tips I think you should consider Singapore instead. I am Canadian and had a chance to go to Kuala Lumpur. I was robbed at knife point few meters away from a police station. That experience has had me traumatized that I won't come back to Malaysia anytime... even if it's for free. Others as figures show's this year tourism statistic/ number of ppl are larger this year compared to last year.. you should come and dont worry urself malaysia ppl r friendly n we very helpful lot even more than thailand or singapore and stupid ppl liek thebear who r jealouse of us malaysia is best and malaysia boleh my research Kuala Lumpur is a great place to go to. I went there a few months ago and I spent a real good time. There are loads of things to see, from colonial houses to huge buildings (e.g. the petronas towers or the KL tower). Plus, if you want to have a great thrill, just climb in a cab, they drive like in GTA (meaning following absolutely no rules!). I don't know what is the weather like in the summer, but when I went there it rained really hard once or twice a day, but not for a too long time. It's hot and wet back there. The people are very nice, and most of them speak something that sounds like English, so you could ask your way back to your hotel. One advice: go, you won't regret it (I really didn't!). ok.. here's from a malaysian....... kuala lumpur is definitely a nice place to visit especially if you like shopping....there tons to do here......really great places to visit.....and malaysian food rox.......a cultural diversity of chinese, malays and indians and other ethnic tribes if you happen to visit east malaysia...so its like visiting a few countries at once......the weather is a bit unpredictable but it will usually rain in the late evenings but sunny for most parts of the day. ppl here are friendly o yea, get the airport taxi when you get here........the prices are far cheaper then those waiting outside the airport.. malaysia boleh! Malaysia is a great place for summer vacation, but do be careful of some racist Malaysians who may stalk you, harass you, insult you or cheat you... Be sure to travel in a group or couple. You don't want to be abducted or raped. Check your local travel advisory on Malaysia and see what it says, if you think I am lying. Check on some of the users here to see if I'm making this up.
