Hi--Lemme rephrase myself--i dont want to work in an international school? |
Travel Info Schools In Kuala Lumpur-i dont really wanna work in any international schools--i would like to work in the local malay school where i could kind of fit in-i dont want a pay in 6 digit numbers(even tho it wont kill) but i liked msia--cos it was more me! -slow and nonchalant--not fast paced like hk or ultra slow like bkk.its just rite--hmm-memories of goldilocks flood in!!i have lived in hk for 18 yrs from when i was 4 months till i got married at 18,then pushed off to bkk n stayed there till i was 34-but i kinda like Malaysia--its a blend of both-din really like hong kong much. Travel Tips when i was in school [government school], i got a Japanese teacher teaching the language, i got 2 Australians teaching Physical Education and English, i got 2 indonesians teaching Math and Chemistry/Physics - all are on contract basis You may want to seek further info from the ministry itself in Putrajaya. Basically they need teachers special skills and knowledge. But looking at current situation where many local teachers didn't get their place yet, i think the chance's quite slim I know many top Malaysian officials like the education minister Hishamuddin, the deputy PM Najib and the PM Abdullah there in PutraJaya, but unfortunately they do not know me at all, so I can't help you much good luck Others Malaysian Government Schools? Not too sure about it, ma'am... but GOOD LUCK trying! Hi There, Nice to see people who actually want to teach. However what would you like to teach? It is one profession where interest and qualification need to be aligned in order to be a good teacher. My mom was a teacher for many years before retiring with the ministry. Even then she managed to get a teaching position in private day school. The word international in KL sometimes does not imply international students. Mainly its student body comprises of children from the middle to upper income that cannot go to government school or choose the school because of its reputation. As long as you have a recognised dip. ed or teaching licence i do not see any problems getting a job there. Now you may want to know the how to get the job. Depending on what your qualifications and skills there are a lot of alternative. 1) Ministry of Education 2) Private Schools 3) Cluster Schools. You will need to write in and provide your credentials. However chances are private scholls will respond faster and likely to hire with better pay. A support letter would work. You should go to the MCA service centre and ask for their assistance. They could do more then get a support letter for you. Good luck.
