Can i cancel Airasia flight ticket & get the refund back? |
Travel Info If cannot cancel how about changing dates or name? Is there any fees applies such changing & how much? What's the time frame for changing all this? Travel Tips Flight Change: Once a booking number has been issued, flight changes are subject to the following terms: Inside of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time, no changes are allowed. The charges for flight change outside of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time are provided for in the fee schedule, subject to the following conditions: if a lower fare is available, the difference in fares will not be refunded to the passenger; if the new flight booked is in a higher fare class than that of the cancelled booked flight, the difference in fares shall be paid by the passenger before the cancellation or change can be made; the change is not confirmed until we issue you a new Itinerary and/or booking number. changes on route(s) are not allowed. Promotional Fares : Article 5.3 regarding Flight Change rules and Article 5.5 regarding Name Change do not apply to certain selected promotional fares. Name Change: Once a booking number has been issued, name changes are subject to the following terms: Provided that the request is made outside of six (6) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time and the original as well as the substituted passengers' identities are authenticated, you are allowed to substitute the passenger named in the confirmed booking with another passenger subject to payment of a charge as provided for in the fee schedule. Others there is almost always a fee if u are changing ur ticket, depending on the airline its usually around $100-200 to change or cancel. im not sure of the time frame tho. It depends on the type of ticket you bought - Saver or Flexi. You can change the date at a service fee of RM30 - 100 depending on where you are flying to or where you are flying from and what type of ticket you have bought. Im not sure whether u can get any refund or not & it depends on what type of airfare that u buy with AA. no u cannot cancel but u can change the time and pay the difference if the new date is of higher price and nothing if lower. Of course you can cancel your ticket, but you will not be refunded on the ticket price. However, you can claim back your airport tax. Changing dates and names : Fees :RM50 per sector and you have to pay the different of ticket prices, where applicable. RM50 per name change.
