Malaysian R&D - Research & Duplicate? |
Travel Info We have ferris wheel called Eye on Malaysia based on Eye on London. Since many years ago, we have Le Tour de Langkawi, copying the name of Le Tour de France. And we don't even speak French!! Why can't we come out with our own truly Malaysian names since we have plenty of options. Malaysians, esp Malays, are highly creative in naming their children you now you can hear lots of bombastic names for children. What will the French think of they come to Malaysia? I think the same way we'll think if we go to France and find out they are having "Pertandingan Lumba Basikal Perancis". What else do you think that we love to duplicate even if we can easily create it ourselves? Travel Tips hihihi..hohohoho...hahahahah..... this is why sometimes i love to get to laugh by my ownself when sitting infront of this pc.. Malaysian always love pin-point on others when it comes to all sort of things...they love to nag..nag..nag..complains and whining about why Malaysian like this and that....and that gos the same to you my friend..if someone like Tun Mahathir didnt come out with sort of ridiculous ideas about looking to the west, building up twin towers and such..will the unfortunate people who dont have big fat cash able to drive an economy car like proton to go to work and such? or going to KLCC to do your shopping or dating with your loves one? no right?? so stop it lah....its irritating.... if we do not copy others then how could we move on?..how are we be able to taste the modern day of malaysia today instead 50-60 years ago? there are many things that Malaysia did by her own like having their own computer microchips which is designed and produce here by Malaysian locals and being shipped to all huge countries..even in the US..they import so many thigs from outside instead producing their own.. do you know that most western countries look very high on Asian's product?? so guys stop la downgrading your own motherland...be a little proud of it will ya?. Others Many years ago Tun initiated the 'dasar pandang ke timur' basically just means copy other people technology and name it our technology, but the japs somehow make substantial improvement , and ours sort of...em..em..proton is an example. So, the same applies to those names u mentioned Eye of msia, le tour langkawi etc. If u want in BM, it will be mata malaysia and jelajah le langkawi. Bit wierd rite? so better don't la... PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS!!! It was designed by Argentinian architect Cesar Pelli... and it is also a replica of the Angkor Wat pillars! Its now the 'symbol' of Malaysia. Ironic huh? hahaha good example!!! what about our own PENSONIC.. taken from PANASONIC we take everything from the west and adapt into our culture, this is because malaysians are too lazy or uncreative to come up with something truly genuine and real. we duplicate food, culture, architectures, style, and hell the next thing we know we will be invaded again. even our neighbors can do better. Thailand's Soda made it in the runaway, we have yet to see if Rizalman sets his foot on something far. A Famosa looks like a freaking Red Fort! why the ghastly painting?! if malaysia want to duplicate everything the west does, legalize sex workers and prostitutions, acknowledge gays and have our own gay parade! if French films allow nudity, so must Malaysian films! Cicakman is a copy from Batman, and all marvel comic heroes crammed in one! u know im right! vote me! Ask the politicians. Who named Eye on Malaysia, Le Tour de Langkawi? I do not think it was regular Malaysians. I would prefer something like Kampung Warisan. For me, it is a romantic name. R&D = re-produce & duplicate, you are absolutely right |
