Travel Info Malaysians,what "poyo" actually mean and which language does it came from? Travel Tips There is a new set of slang spoken by the urban youth, which may not be familiar to the older generation, e.g. awek (girl); balak (guy); usha (survey); skodeng (peep); cun (pretty); poyo/slenge (horrible, low-quality) etc. The youth also tend to mix Malay with English words, forming Bahasa Rojak. Others That sounds like a corruption of "Pollo" which is spanish for "Chicken" from what i understand...my friends use poyo to describe people who.... - THINKShe/she is the most gorgeous/rich/smart/witty....(... name it) person in the world and making it obvious to the extent ppl notice and get tired of it -THINKS he/she can get anybody he/she wants...and make it very obvious and flirt around... but gets nobody...huhu -THINKS he/she is the most powerful or with power or want to grab all the post in all club you can even mention in school... something like that to sumarize...somebody that thinks so highly of themselves in any way or in any field...if ppl find it annoying or disgusted or hate....they are the poyo ppl experience Teenagers nowdays used that term to describe cheeky not serious fella.. how do i say this.. u can refer as over acting or over the top.. which the feelings for this kind of fella is not amusing at all.. i will can a guy making stupid jokes as a poyo.. ppl like thebear is good example for poyo entah tak tau the meaning |
