If i buy an item like a mobile or a PS2 from LOWYAT plaza in kl.will they give me international warrenty?????? |
Travel Info iam from pakistan and will come to KL in march for a visit.....will they be able to give me an international warrenty.....will i have to pay more for that.....how much then,.....thnkxx Travel Tips well, just don't depends on warranty... just fix it by yourself if u can or get it repaired by mechanic in ur local town. Others if you want it cheap, low yat's the place secure with confirm warrenty, any sony kiosk that carries ps2's.. As i already mentioned earlier on your previous question..it always depends on whether you buy and ORIGINAL item or IMMITATION...if you buy the original ones..you will get an international warranty but if you buy immitation then you can only get the local outlet where you buy the items warranty. if you want to pay extra to have an international warranty..then its the better you buy the original stuff.. Kuala Lumpur still sells PS2? Holy crap, did they know PS3 came out last year? Tsk tsk tsk .... Not likely. I stayed in KL for a month and purchased several electronic items and was unable to find any retailers that would provide anything other than an Asia Pacific regional warranty. Even on an item such as a motorolla razr phone, I could only get a local warranty from the retailer. I had at one point considered buying a Nikon D80 camera while there because the price was slightly cheaper than in the US, but when I contacted Nikon thru their website, they told me that the warranty would not be valid in the US. Been there, done that... |
