Travel Tips Because along with most other muslim countries, Malaysia does not recognise Israel. This is really strange, the very fact that a country does not recognise another, means that they acknowledge its existence. Others Malaysia has a muslim majority. Some muslim countries do not allow Israelis to enter their countries and vice versa. I do not know who prohibited who first - but that is probably the reason. Nope, not strange at all. Must have a death wish to visit Israel. Especially if you're a Muslim or from an Islamic country. The Israel goverment has no value for human life other than jews. Malaysian government doesn't recognized israel as a nation. Plus Malaysian doesn't have diplomatic relation with Israel. That's mean Israel citizen also prohibited to enter Malaysia. As for Malaysia, it prefers to view the Middle East conflict from a human-rights perspective and in terms of international law, and in the latter context, certain facts are clear. Firstly, Israel is illegally occupying the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. UN Security Council Resolution 141 requires Israeli withdraw from those territories. The Palestinians have their right to fight the their land because it is an Jew army of occupation and international law supports their right to a state. Meanwhile, Israel continues its expansion of illegal Jewish settlements on occupied Palestinian land. 40 yrs of occupation are long enough- violation of the Geneva Convention under which population-transfer into an occupied territory is illegal!! Therefore, Malaysia has no bilateral ties whatsover with Isreal and vice- versa. Like between American - Cuba. Malaysian passports once included the DPRK (North Korea) together with ISRAEL as the countries banned from visiting by the government. Now It is only ISRAEL - Malaysia (largely muslim population) does not have diplomatic recognition of the Jewish State. NEVERTHELESS.... thousands of Malaysian Christians (mostly Malaysian-Chinese) have visited The Holy Land for many years and continue to do so - NOT a problem at all with the Malaysian government. Does your Malaysian friend know this? Did you know this? israel is no in world map for malaysia & other OIC members. |
