Travel Info I am going to Malaysia this year in August. What are the best things to check out in Kuala Lumpur? Travel Tips I'm going there myself too this March.From what I've read about Kuala Lumpur,places of interest are Petronas Twin towers,KL tower,Merdeka square,Suria KLCC,KL Aquaria,Batu caves,etc and for cheap shopping in Central Market,China town,cheap and delicious food in hawker stalls along Jalan Alor and Penang road.Also check out the latest attraction is the Eye on Malaysia in Lake Titiwangsa with special water theatre shows all every night.Check on the following websites below.Everything you need to know is there.Hope it helps. Beware of day light robbery - don't carry hand bag while walking along the road, don't be alone in the night ..... You get the Africians and Indonesians terrorising the the street of the capital..... KLCC, Suria KLCC, Aquaria, KLCC Convention Centre 2. Starwalk 3. Chow Kit Road, Petaling Street (only bargain if u really wanna buy it) oh and this is my fav place: One Utama. it's not relli in KL. but it's this huge shopping mall wif everything in it. and there's a mini rainforest in it too. with those pretty fishes. and a big bridge. which connects to the rooftop platform, where u can see...uhh...traffic jam in the highways in a very hot afternoon. typical malaysia lol =) These are my opinions.. 1.KLCC is a must go in KL or else..you've just wasted your time, shop there and go to Aquaria to see fishes,i don't know if snakes are still there or not 2.Go to Eye on Malaysia,and maybe walk around the Titiwangsa Lake near there? 3.The KL Tower,you can go and take pictures if you want. 4.Chow Kit Road..lots of stuff to buy there,cheap. 5.Some shopping malls like 1 Utama,Mid Valley Megamall and you can also go to The Curve. that's all I got..for now on of them is Eye on Malaysia,it's tallest portable observation wheel int he world.it's a observation wheel just like london eye,just launced early 2007. Petronas Twin Towers is also good to see,because it's one of the tallest twin tower in the world Berjaya Times Square is biggest shopping centre in kuala lumpur,it also have 2 5-stars hotels.it also tagged as world鈥檚 largest building ever built in a single phase.it's very wide. |
