Travel Info I planning to go for a holiday at the beach. I live in KL. Other than PD, which is the closest to KL. Mode of Transport? Thank You. Travel Tips The closest to beach other than PD is Pangkor Island or in Lumut (teluk batiK) Nice place TO Go.. around 4 hours drive from KL.. take a bus going to Lumut.. have fun. Others you can go far from that. do you feel scare for your safety. or maybe you only love to spend for a few hour at the beach. i recommend you to go to langkawi. only 8 hr by train and 4 hr by bus or others, no other place than pd as you say so try lumut. you can get there by bus.
