Can someone please explain what does '-----' in the map means???

Travel Info
please refer to the map below :

http://www.malaxi.com/map_transit.htm...

understood that each circle with a name next to it is a station.
look at bank negare and next to is bandaraya. in between those two station there a '------'. what does it mean??

same goes for kuala lumpur and pasar seni.

does it mean that those two station is link??

Travel Tips
no, its not a link/bridge/watever. i checked my kl mapbook. it suppose to mean "walking distance with less than 1 km", for example, kuala lumpur station to pasar seni station takes about 0.375 km which is 375 meters.

in consideration, of me taking out my kl mapbook, searched high n low for the locations, debunk the myth of "link between 2 stations". and clearly clarify for u.....pls oh pls, give me 10 points. thanx.

bicyleman, do i sound too kopi-o minded?

Rail line.?
it means a walkway between 2 lins.
Maybe they have a connecting walkway linking the stations there, but I'm only guessing.

Edit:
Holy cow holyman (Wasn't your name Devilish before?), what a brilliant answer I'd give you 100 points if I could!
yes its a walk way or a bridge that not far away. You can walk there.
It's trying to tell you that those two stations are linked and yes,it's a walkway........which means that from bank negara station, you can interchange with another train line just by walking to bandaraya station and vise versa.........

the walkway is very short......less than 5 minutes and you will reach to the next station...
been there,done that/..
