Why would you recommend a foreigner to study in Malaysia? |
Travel Info Seriously... is it something that Malaysians have to lie again? What do Malaysians have to offer? The Malaysian education system is racially and socially biased (even towards their own nationalities ---sources: The Exam Syndicate). Serious answers only please, don't give me that typical Malaysian answer. You guys can't help denying yourselves. Travel Tips Wow so there is such thing as racial profiling in Malaysia even in their education but I can see that from the answers here, the ones that are benefitting are the ones getting pissed when their benefits are being in question. Is this because the Malays consider all other people not Malay or Muslims as infidels and foreigners?. Others why are you so against Malaysia you teddybear... Mr.Teddy i understand that you are trying your best to get the message across, but you can do it in a more polite way..we have nothing against you, its just the way you ask a question is kinda direct which most people do find it abit rude. Just my opinion, infact i have even added you in my fan list..whoa cool huh ! But as per your question, i would rather people study overseas than in Malaysia. Dave : whats your point ???? coz studying in msia makes them realize the defects of msian education system, just like u mentioned. which leads to, "you have been s.u.c.k.e.r.e.d " seriously....if you really hate malaysia...go somewhere else lah... No. i would recommed to study in UK or Australia instead. They have better education system. you only study here if you dont have enough money. So that I can screw your as*. I'm a foreigner studying in Malaysia. It isn't something 'wow' but it isn't that bad. The evaluation system is fair, although there might be individual lecturers who prefer their own race or dislike foreigners. In terms of facilities Malaysian universities are ok, but they must do something about under-qualified lecturers and lecturers who don't have sufficient command in English (if it's their second language, let me tell you it's my fourth). Malaysia can offer many courses, but they're weak in nuclear physics and Islamic studies are slightly deviated. Malaysian education system is racially and socially based only on pre-university level, than it's only the scholarships for private universities and UiTM where Malays have their privilleges. Malaysia can offer low study fees and low living cost. In terms of quality, they can't offer as much as Oxford, Cambridge, Sorbona, Beijing, Yale, Stanford or Harvard, but let's say that Malaysian education enables you to work, though as for any job, you have to make your own effort in order to be among the best. Malaysian university education system is no lie. It is actually something good about Malaysia. Shortage of books available at bookshops is a problem though. |
