Bikinis on Redang Island?

Travel Info
My friends and I will be going to Terengganu sometime in August this year. I heard that women have to dress really conservative over there and bikinis are banned on the beach. But we'll going to Redang Island for snorkelling. Would wearing bikinis be allowed there?

Travel Tips
no worries..
bikinis is allowed in Redang island..

enjoy ur time there...
nice island with nice spot for snorkeling..
just an advise
-bring sunlotion..
-bring own google.
-bring several bikini's
-some plastics for wet shirts

Others
Well if not you will just have to take them off.
bikini are allowed, just dont take them off.
I've been to Redang with my bikini. My advise is to find swimwear that is suitable for your body shape if you do not welcome oggling:) If you have an ample front, you're probably better off with a one piece suit. Enjoy Redang, it's beautiful there!
When you are in Trengannu, pls dress appropriately. Once you reach the island, you are allowed to cos I have seen many wearing bikini on the island....
i think terengganu is not so as bad as kelantan...just dont bother ...wear your bikini and have a great time. better wear 1 piece suit rather than a 2 piece..cause people tend to look at you like they never seen a girl before...
It's so unfair! It's safer to wear a one piece. Or wrap your whole body with cloth but cut 2 eyeholes! >:-(
