What to do for a day trip in Malacca, Malaysia? |
Travel Info Planning for a day trip in Malacca.. What is there to do and any places that is a must visit place? And also if we plans to stay there for 1 night, which hotel is recommended?? Travel Tips Look for haunted houses. Others If possible, try to arrange your trip on friday, because Malacca used to have a night market at antique street (opposite of red house). At the night market you will able to get around with some delicious local foods and some shows. Right after Air Keroh toll station, along the road side to the city, you will pay your visit to several attraction points like Zoo, crocodile farm, and mini malaysia. After that you may get chicken rice ball for your lunch. the continue your journey to Red House, Samudra Muzium, and some heritage building. Hotel can be reached easily in town, you may try City Bayview Hotel where just newly renovated or Orchid Hotel. recommendate hotel: hotel equatorial and hotel renaissance. 1st choice: http://www.malacca.ws/renaissance/... 2nd choice: http://www.malacca.ws/equatorial/... both have stragetic location...as its near most interestin places to visit such as Kota 'A' famosa, mini malaysia, stadyhuys, st paul church , etc. MUst visit places in a day : -Hang Li Poh's Well -Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum -Stadthuys -A Famosa Water World -kota A Famosa -mini malaysia http://www.malacca.ws/attractions/places... most of the above mentioned places r close to one another...all pretty near the hotel...u may b able to cover all the above in a day... i did tat... :)..if u have time... u can shop at nearby mahkota parade shoppin centre Malacca is a country that full with history. I think you should take your kids to the town area is much more better than Air Keroh and others. If you staying at Equatorial Hotel everything is just around the corner. The A Formosa, the Padang Pahlawan and The Stadhuy , the st Francis,, lots of monument just a walking distant. The food stall just cross the road for morning breakfast. Prefer shopping just walk about 25km for Mahkota Parade. Try to take your kids to the old school at the back of the hotel. Lots of things to learn for their school folio too. Have a nice visit. Hotel Seri Costa in Town may be a good alternative due to pricing Seri Malaysia Hotel is out of town but affordeble A Formosa, & Jonker Street, and a Nonya Meal will be good for a day trip to melacca Enjoy |
